YMCA Youth Golf Camp
Mon July 6th - Thur. July 9th
All Day Event

This four day Golf Camp will focus on grip and swing techniques, advancing the ball, club use and golf etiquette. Children will receive instruction and have the opportunity to play in Miniature Golf and Par 3 Play. Participants will be divided into appropriate age groups. Youth need to supply their own shoes and clubs. The class will be held at Tan-Tar-A's The Oaks Golf Course instructed by Paul Leahy. For more information, please visit www.lakeymca.org .


Kingdom Archery Open Shooting

Tuesdays from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at The Church at Osage Hills 5237 Hwy 54 in Osage Beach.  The cost is $5.00 per adult.  Adults may bring one child grades 4 - 12 at no charge.  For more information, please call 573-348-1030.


Young Eagles at the Camdenton Airport

The focus is to inspire kids to "Fly High" without drugs by offering them choices for future careers and activities. Representatives from various careers will offer information on their fields such as: military, law enforcement, fire suppression, coast guard, pilot, civil air patrol, journalism (radio and newspaper), missionary, and many more. Motorcycle and vintage car clubs will show off their wares. Kids from 8-17 can get a free airplane ride... and become a Young Eagle... from 8-12 p.m. Free hot dogs and hamburgers start around 10 a.m. and will be offered until 2 p.m.
