Get your hot chocolate in a thermos and the kids in their jammies and head to the Laurie Fairgrounds for the Enchanted Village of Lights. Drive thru the 27 acre lighted park and view over 200 displays. The park is open from 5:00pm to 9:00pm on weeknights and 5:00pm to 10:00pm on weekends and holidays from November 25 to January 1. Christmas on Main Street Music Show

A two-hour Christmas Variety show, with an appearance by Santa Claus for the kids. The cost is $17.00 for adults; $15.00 for seniors 55 and up; and children ages 5 - 11 $8.00. Kids under 4 are free. Lake Area Community Orchestra Winter Concert Series

This event will be held at First Baptist Church, 5 Hwy 5 in Camdenton. The Mission of the Orchestra is to provide a free concert experience at several locations around the Lake Area. This year the New Conductor of the Orchestra Rose Adams has picked out a wonderful selection of music for the hour long concert. Several Selections are in celebration of Leroy Anderson Birthday; this year would have been his 100th birthday. Leroy Anderson lived from 1908-1975 and is most famous for the Holiday Classic Sleigh Ride, which is also a favorite with Orchestra Members. Along with the Anderson pieces the Orchestra will also play The Movie Music from Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Mancini Magic which has several familiar tunes like Pink Panther and the Baby Elephant Walk. As always a wonderful patriotic piece Amber Waves of Grain and several traditional Holiday songs that will get you into that wonderful Lake of the Ozarks Holiday Spirit. Sunrise Beach Little Theater Children's Production
"The Little Angel
Who Was Always Late"

Will be presented on Thursday and Friday December 4 and 5 at 7:00 P.M. and Saturday December 6 at 2:00 P.M.
The story of poor little Angel Annie, the saddest looking angel in heaven, with only one wing, a crooked halo and untidy hair, who is just too busy to get to choir rehearsal on time. Uncle Gabriel warns the angels they must sing as never before, which makes them realize something special is about to happen. When the Heavenly Father chooses Annie to guard his newborn Son, the other angels work hard to get her ready and most of all, to make sure she’s on time!
Reservations are not required. Admission is free with a donation to local food pantries. Santa will be present at each production to visit with the children. Refreshments will be available at minimal cost.
